Josh Kornbluth in- Ben Franklin: Unplugged

Start Date: Friday 3/4/2005 — End Date: Monday 3/20/2006
    Admission:$25 general/$20 students

Josh Kornbluth returns with his popular monologue “Ben Franklin: Unplugged,” a concept borne when Kornbluth noticed a marked similarity between his physical appearance and that of Benjamin Franklin. “And I was shaving and wiping away the steam when all of a sudden I was struck with a realization: My god! I look like Ben Franklin!” And so begins a saga wherein Kornbluth careens between stories of his own childhood as the son of the first “UnAmericans” and the charged and tragic relationship between the “first American” Benjamin Franklin and his loyalist son, William. The Washington Post cites the monologue as Kornbluth’s richest to date: “ It stands with the best father-son sagas in our theater.” Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 5pm.
