Pacific Coast Adult Sectional Figure Skating Championships Start Date: Friday 3/8/2019 — End Date: Sunday 3/10/2019 Admission:Friday March 8: $5/person; Saturday and Sunday Mar Figure skating isn’t just for kids. Come watch 200+ adults compete in the U.S. Figure Skating Pacific Coast Adult Sectional Figure Skating Championships. Hosted by the St. Moritz Ice Skating Club, the event will take place over three days at the Oakland Ice Center. This competition will host championship events which qualify competitors to the U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships, held this year in Salt Lake City. There will also be many non-qualifying events, including the entertainment categories of light entertainment and dramatic entertainment, which allow the use of props and more dramatic costumes. The competition begins on Friday, March 8 at 12noon to 5pm and continues all day on Saturday, March 9 from 9am to 10pm and on Sunday, March 10 from 9am to 5pm. Special exhibition on Saturday from 1pm to 2pm; see an award winning Adult Synchronized Skating team and the newest U.S. Ladies Figure Skating Champion, Alysa Liu.
