Family Connections Back-to-School Supply Drive Start Date: Thursday 7/28/2022 — End Date: Thursday 7/28/2022 Admission:Free Help children and families start the school year off right! For many parents/caregivers, purchasing their child’s school supplies can be challenging and stressful. We are working to ensure families across San Francisco can feel confident and secure this August. When kids are prepared for the school year with a backpack full of the necessary supplies, they gain a sense of independence and increase their self-esteem. By providing backpacks, classroom materials, and essential items, we can reduce the barriers that prevent children’s ability to learn and succeed. There are two ways you can support: 1. Make a donation to help us purchase supplies at fccenters.org/backtoschool 2. Join us on July 28 at our Portola center to help assemble backpacks and write notes to each of the students, wishing them a great start to the school year. Our goal is to raise $10,000 and your support will help us provide 150 children entering grades K-5 with the items they need to thrive!
